Tables and Abstracts

Indexes to the Acts of Parliament were prepared annually as part of the process of publication. They took two forms: the "Table of the Statutes" gave very brief synopses of the public and private acts passed in each session; the "Abstract of All the Acts" gave a more detailed précis of each. They were generally bound in at the begining of a volume to aid users in pinpointing legislation of interest. Several of these indexes are available, and are listed chronologically herein. Presence of a separate engraved title page is noted parenthetically.

The indexes are listed according to the reigns of the British Kings and Queens.
